Basic Fry Sauce
If you have ever been to Idaho or Utah, then you are familiar with fry sauce. My kids are already addicted and ask for it everywhere we go. So it seemed smart to find a recipe so that I could make it at home. This one is awesome and is the perfect make-at-home solution.
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup ketchup (roughly a 2 to 1 ratio)
1/2 tsp onion powder
3 to 4 teaspoons pickle juice (add one teaspoon at a time & check for taste)
Directions:
Mix together in small bowl. Eat.
This is the basic recipe. I’ve heard of using barbecue sauce instead of ketchup. You can also add a little kick by throwing in some cayenne or Tabasco sauce but my kids wouldn't appreciate that.
