Chocolate Fondue

I had the need for a chocolate fondue recipe so I went hunting. I found this absolutely delicious taster over on Food Network. It's a recipe courtesy of the famous Tyler Florence. The biggest thing going for it is taste but a very near second is how quick it is to put together.

Ingredients:
16 ounces chocolate (milk, dark or semisweet), broken in pieces
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/2 cup caramel topping
3 tablespoons Torani hazelnut syrup or favorite liqueur

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a ceramic fondue pot over low heat. Stir constantly until the mixture is melted and smooth. Do not allow to bubble. Arrange an assortment of bite-sized dipping foods. Some suggestions are strawberries, bananas, apples, grapes, cherries, pound cake, marshmallows, raisins and shelled nuts. Spear with fondue forks or wooden skewers, dip, swirl and enjoy!

Notes:
I should make a note that I simply used Symphony bars for the chocolate and did not include the hazelnut syrup or favorite liqueur and it was still delicious!
