Easy Garlic Chicken

So I decided to try something new last night and I found the following recipe at Food.com.  It almost seemed to good to be true.  Just a few ingredients and a relatively short baking time.  I had to add my own ingredient in there (soy sauce) because after putting it all together, there wasn't enough viscosity to actually glaze the chicken.

I can't personally review the outcome because there was none left for me to try.  After taking two other children to soccer games, I came back to find that my husband and the two kids that remained at home at finished it all.  My husband said it was delicious and "a keeper."  So I'm guessing it was pretty good.  It sure looked and smelled fantastic.

Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons olive oil
A dash of soy sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 500°F and lightly grease a casserole dish.

In small sauté pan, sauté garlic with the oil until tender.

Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and the soy sauce.
Place chicken breasts in a prepared baking dish and cover with the garlic and brown sugar mixture.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Bake uncovered for 15-30 minutes.

Notes:
I baked mine for 20 minutes.  The temperature is extremely high and I was beginning to notice the edges getting really dark but I imagine the heat is what carmelizes the glaze so well.  Just be careful and check on it at the 15 mark.
