Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake
Mmmmmm...this stuff is good! Found it in a children's cookbook in the library entitled Kids Cook! This cake is super easy, moist, and will wow a crowd. Try it. You'll like it.
Ingredients:
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Confectioners' sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
With a mixer, beat together all of the ingredients, except the chocolate chips and the nuts, for about 7 minutes. Add the nuts and the chocolate chips and beat again. Pour into a well-greased bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Cool and remove from pan. Sprinkle with a dusting of confenctioners' sugar.
Notes: I didn't have a yellow cake mix so I used a white cake mix and it tasted delicious! Not sure what the difference in cake mixes would mean for the cake. I also excluded the nuts because my family doesn't eat them. This may be my new favorite bundt cake (or any cake for that reason)!
