Sesame Chicken BowTie Pasta

1/4 cup of sesame seeds
1 16 oz. box of bow tie pasta
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1/3 cup light soy sauce
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1 tsp. sesame oil
3 TBSP. white sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3 cups shredded chicken ( I fried mine in the wok)
1/3 cup fresh cilantro


1. Heat a skillet on medium-high and add sesame seeds. Cook stirring frequently until lightly toasted. Remove from pan.

2. Bring 2 tsp. salt added to your water to a boil. Add pasta and boil until al dente. Drain, rinse with cool water and let cool.

3. In a jar with a very tight lid, combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, and pepper. Shake Violently.......................:)

4. Pour over pasta and add chicken and fresh cilantro. Serve chilled.

5. I also added snap peas and carrots, mushrooms, really any vegetable that you want. Let me know how you like it.

I made this this week and we all loved it. I had to leave in the middle of making it and so I told Mike to use Kraft's Lite Toasted Sesame Dressing instead of making the dressing, eventhough I bought all of the ingredients. Next time I want to make the original sauce. But either way, yum!
