CRANBERRY PORK ROAST

This is a great recipe to use for family gatherings. It is fast, easy really yummy and it cooks in the crockpot. A Scharman favorite.

Pork Roast-Use a blade, bloneless blade or a shoulder roast. You can use pork loin but frankly
it doesn't have enough fat on it to make it really tender.
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 tsp Dijon mustard

Cover roast with cranberry sauce and soup mix and put in crockpot. (Try the new crockpot bags-I love them.) Cook all day on low or several hours on high. Last half hour of cooking, stir in mustard. (I have often forgotten to add the mustard and it is still good.)
When it is cooked, you will amazed that is was made with cranberry sauce.
