Taffy Apple Pizza

1 pkg. 18 oz. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 pkg. 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2-3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, & sliced
Ground cinnamon
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping, I always used more than this, pour it on sisters

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape dough into a ball. Place dough in center of 15" round baking stone and roll out dough to within 1" of edge of stone. Bake 16 to 18 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and carefully loosen cookie from stone using a long knife. (I leave the cookie on a lot of times and don't transfer it) Combing cream cheese, brown sugar, peanut butter and vanilla. Spread mixture evenly over top of cookie. Peel, core, and slice apples. Dip in lemon-lime soda to prevent browning. Arrange apples over cream cheese mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon. Drizzle, (pour :) caramel over apples and top with nuts if desire.

Cut into wedges with a pizza cutter and serve. A big hit at my last book club meeting.
