Peanut Butter and Honey Oatmeal

This is the fourth recipe I've added today, so scroll a bit, please.

This is a staple at our house, especially during the school year. I came up with it trying to make cooked oatmeal even healthier and still have my kids eat it!

Cook oatmeal on the stove. After dishing into bowl, add honey and stir in with a spoonful of peanut butter (the pb will melt and is a great boost of protein in the morning).

I also add frozen raspberries or blueberries. It cools it off, sweetens, gives extra nutrition, and the raspberries turn the oatmeal pink - my girls love that!

It's easy to customize to a particular child tastes.

Hi, I linked to your site from Megan Scharmann's...er, Keck! I just tried this oatmeal (but used brown sugar because I'm out of honey) and it was amazing. I can't wait until tomorrow morning! Did I really just say that about oatmeal? Thanks for making oatmeal palatable without half a stick of butter!
